Richard Martin is an award winning singer/songwriter from Northern New Mexico. He grew up working the ranches of Eastern New Mexico. This gave him and his co writing brother Glenn an honest perspective of cowboy life and ways that come out in their songs and music. They have been published on CowboyPoetry.com. Richard has been a competative team roper and has never lost his love of the cowboy way and our rich Western heritage.

Richard has loved and played music all his life. He played with many well known C/W bands in New Mexico and on the road from the 1970s on. He now does original, honest, from the heart Western/Folk songs as well as many old favorites. He performs mostly solo.

Richard has released four CDs including "Water to the Land", Morning Coffee", "Fall Roundup", and "Many A Mile".
