Richard Martin
Richard Martin is a singer songwriter, living in Northern New Mexico. He plays throughout New Mexico, Colorado and Texas. He plays American folk music and many of his songs reflect the country way of life.
Richard has loved and played music most of his life. He has played professionally with many well known country bands in New Mexico and on the road.
When asked if he considers himself an Americana Folk musician, Richard replies "I just play music". And he does... very well!
Richard has recorded two CDs (Mail Box Money and Bringing Water to the Land) and has played at the New Mexico Music Awards, the Durango Cowboy Gathering and other notable events. Richard is an award winner at the 2010 New Mexico Music Awards. He enjoys playing solo and duo gigs as well as large band events around this great country of ours.
